A chilly, damp day today. When I opened the fridge, I could smell those Florida strawberries, fragrant and sweet. So, of course , I made a fresh little pot of jam. And just for fun, I added a spicy slice of fresh ginger root - mmmmm, smells wonderful!

Katrina..the strwaberries we bought at Costco..because there are NO strawberries here under all this freshly fallen thick snow..are the size of clementines..no.. actually..bigger !

Monique - I just hope they tasted good and had that heady perfume of strawberry! The berries I got were the perfect medium size, lucky me! Enjoy the snow! (though I know by now most people are sick of it)-
