the black raspberries are ripe!

The best way to enjoy black raspberries? Warm from the sun with sugar and cream.......

Hi Kat ~ I wish I lived next door to you so I could have a few black raspberries - they look so delicious! Yummmmm.

Greetings, Barb! These are actually picked from where I lived last year. The black raspberry bushes were loaded with berries, and no one was picking them, so I went back and filled my picking bucket! It's astonishing to me that people will buy $5 boxes of berries, and ignore what's in their back yard! Thanks for popping by with those kind words...

I have a ton of these growing in my yard. they were Grandma's (I bought her house after she died).
The kids love them, but I can't take the smell of them. I have never even eaten one because I can't get past the smell - LOL
I think they are the only fruit I don't like.

Organically Yours,
Diana

How amazing, Diana! I never noticed the smell of black raspberries being different at all! Mostly, I just eat them with cream and sugar, warm from the sun, and I'm in heaven. Isn't that the funniest thing about the smell bothering you?
