Love that fisrt pic Katrina..
Glad it was a nice day for you:)
Thanks, Nana ! - For some reason I was uninspired this Thanksgiving, and the meal was not as I had hoped - but for once it wasn't about the food, but family.
Happy December 1st to you!
I love your photos. I think I've said it before, but to me you seem to have such a natural eye for capturing really lovely photos.
I'm happy you had a happy family thanks giving!
Your stuffing looks great, my Thanksgiving stuffing didn't turn out very well, could you share your recipe?
Elizabeth, you'll laugh - it's Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing, my favorite, and probably the last time I'll use it. My daughter raised an eyebrow when she saw it, but it reminds me of so many Thanksgivings with family. And the cranberry sauce comes from near my hometown on Cape Cod: Ocean Spray cranberries. I suppose that will be going as well:)
My Mom likes Pepperidge Farm best for stuffing as well. I used my own sourdough bread and it turned out kind of dry and the chestnuts I bought at the grocery, were petrified and moldy. Hopefully I'll have better luck with stuffing next time.
Did I mention, I've made your apple bread pudding a couple times, great use for old sourdough. I don't think I've ever made bread pudding before, it always seemed so rich. I really like your recipe for breakfast with a little maple syrup. Thank you!
Eeek - here it is 2017 and I just noticed I didn't thank Barb and Elizabeth for their comments! Better late than ever:)
