The other day I made a few trays of appetizers for a meeting, nothing complicated. Thinly sliced fresh and crunchy radishes and mild yellow peppers, just- ripe tomatoes, fresh snippings of Italian parsley and dill, oregano, and basil from the garden, gently placed on top of homemade bread and a layer of homemade boursin herb cheese. Sometimes simple is best!

Fresh..tasty and pretty..I will miss our herbs!
And all the produce now freshly and readily available..not in my garden mind you..but fresh and local..
Have a lovely day Katrina..
So true, Nana - always such a pleasure to wander around the garden snipping off bits of herbs. I am thankful so many stores now carry such a good assortment of fresh herbs year round, though it's not quite the same.
I love the proximity to our kitchens of our herbs..No leaving the house:)
But you are right..fresh herbs are plentiful now in grocery stores..
