That looks like a baby dragon to me - too adorable!

I made chocolate chip cookies yesterday - first thing I've really cooked/baked in a long time! Wouldn't you know the first thing would be cookies!! (yummmmm!)

Now I'm going to pick one of your soups or maybe that chicken pot pie!

Love the vegetable pix - autumn is so bountiful and so beautiful.

Wouldn't you know, in my rush to get out the door this morning, I published the photos backwards, Barb! He is an adorable baby dragon, who flew down to join the Keene Pumpkin Festival's children's parade last year.

Loving the squashes and pumpkins, as you are - and the spices! Now's the time for allspice, mace, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves.....

Katrina ~ Is the "baby dragon" a relative?

Even backwards, love your pictures!

(See...I told you I look at your blog twice a day (at least when I can). I love to read other people's comments to you too.)

Hello again, Barb! No, have no idea who the little boy was - I was shooting photos of the kids lining up for the parade - my granddaughter was a bumblebee, but didn't last long ( she was one and a half then)....I just asked her what she wants to be this year and she said....."a SKUNK!" She's a hoot.

Baby skunks are pretty cute. If she is a skunk this year (or whatever she is - be sure to post her picture, I'd love to see it!)

I certainly will, Barb! I'll figure out some way to work a skunk into a food posting ... and I have to say, I just love the Pumpkin Festival in Keene, NH, especially the kids parade at noon. Lots of homemade costumes, happy, polite children, and a huge number of pumpkins. They try to break the record every year for the most pumpkins.........

Thanks, Shuna! Everyone needs a glimpse of a dragon now and then - along with those delicious roasted squashes.........
